Trite Trail Poem 1

"Another [F*!]ing uphill,"
Was a phrase I uttered, a lot.
Fifty-plus pounds in the backpack,
Tired, pissed off (at myself), and hot.
Then we followed the  [F*!]ed up sign,
Ended up below where we should be,
Faced with more  [F*!]ing uphill,
I thought, "this is  [F*!]ing it, for me."

It wasn't.
And there is My Life lesson,
One of many I found on The Trail,
Keep Pushing, Keep Trying, Keep Striving.
Do Not let Your Life go stale.
