To extend the life of your monitors and save power, please consider turning them off!  Note this Fact from the U.S. Dept. of Energy:

"Fact:
Your computer monitor consumes significant amounts of energy even when the screen saver is operating.  In fact, more often than not, a screen saver will not only draw power from the monitor, but will also keep the CPU from powering down.

Also, when cleaning monitors, please note these instructions (Source http://support.gateway.com/support/manlib/Desktops/8508550/08550c1a.htm):

"Cleaning the screen:

If your computer screen is a flat panel display, use a soft cloth and water to clean the screen. Squirt a little water on the cloth (never directly on the screen), and wipe the screen with the cloth.

Caution: A flat panel display is made of specially coated glass and can be scratched or damaged by abrasive or ammonia-based window cleaners.

- OR -

If your computer screen is not a flat panel display, use a soft cloth and window cleaner to clean the monitor screen. Squirt a little cleaner on the cloth (never directly on the screen), and wipe the screen with the cloth."
