Michael's Reference  started as a place to collect the links to online resources on topics I am interested in. Then search engines got really good, and that was ridiculous. I leave the "Weather" and "Wildfire Info." pages up because folks find them useful...and by "folks" I mean that I use them regularly...and a few members of my framily do too.

The title was created shortly after Grad. School in 97/98. I chose the domain name because...at the time..it was - I thought - simple, to-the-point, and easy for me to remember... Oof.

I have been working in information technology for rural telecommunications since December of 1998. I have been playing with websites since 1995, and computers and networks for a bit before that.
